River up again but fishable in places, forecast OK so should be better by weekend.

The rain came; river now up and almost unfishable but the duckweed is well on its way to th sea. With little or no more rain should be in v good nick in 2 or 3 days.

River in good condition after the recent rain, most of the duckweed has been washed downstream. More rain forecast - watch this space.

Still suffering from lack of rain and excessive duckweed on the surface. Low flow levels mean that we need to look for shallower, flowing areas to find more fish. Try the weir pools where oxygen levels are a bit higher.

After the recent rain river in very good condition with a better flow and a bit of colour in the water. More rain forecast but this most unlikely to affect the river adversely.

River normal level but clear with little flow, lots of roach, dace and perch showing. Rain today and forecast should not effect the river adversely but should improve flow and catches.

River in good condition after muddy snow water subsided. Cold but water not too coloured, should be OK for pike/chub (and roach in the favoured areas.)

River at normal Winter level after snow melt but still very cold. Will improve towards weekend as milder weather expected.

River at a good Winter level and clear but very cold. Very little action apart from at the hotspots such as Black Bridge.
